Write down what life is like right now. Future you will pay a fortune for those notes.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Detail evaporates quickly and quietly. In ten years you will remember the outline of this period and almost none of the texture: what a normal Wednesday cost, what you were worried about, how the room smelled, what your friends said. Memory keeps the summary and discards exactly the parts that would have brought it back.
Write a paragraph about an ordinary day, including the boring specifics. What you ate, what you were anxious about, who you saw. It will feel pointless now, which is precisely why nobody does it and why it is worth so much later.
What detail of this week would you want to remember?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
