Public reaction and real significance run on separate tracks, and only one of them produces a number you can check. The things that change somebody’s year tend to be private: a conversation, a favor, staying when leaving would have been easier. They are unshareable because they were never a performance in the first place.

Look back over the past few months for something you did that nobody saw. Let it count fully in your own accounting. Then do one thing this week you have no intention of mentioning to anyone.
