You don’t find out who you are once. You pick it again every morning, usually before your first text.

REFLECTION

WHAT THIS MEANS

Identity is less a discovery than a series of small re-elections. Who you are today gets built out of what you did in the first hour, what you agreed to, what you let slide, and most of that happens before you register any of it as a choice. No final answer waits at the end of enough reflection. There is only the next decision, arriving sooner than expected.

Pick one thing tomorrow morning that the person you want to be would do, and do it before you look at anything else. Then repeat it for a week.
