Good seeds planted in the wrong season still rot. Right idea, wrong month is a real thing.

REFLECTION

WHAT THIS MEANS

Quality is not sufficient on its own. A sound idea introduced when the conditions cannot support it fails in a way that looks exactly like a bad idea failing, so people draw the wrong conclusion and abandon something that was fine. Timing is not a minor factor layered on top. It is part of whether the thing works.

When something good of yours did not take, examine the conditions before you write off the idea. Was anyone able to receive it, was there money, was there attention available. Hold the idea and wait for a better month. Some things need planting twice.

A QUESTION TO SIT WITH

Which good idea of yours came at a terrible moment?
