Almost everything you want right now will be cheaper if you can wait. Including most regrets.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
Urgency inflates price, in money and in everything else. The thing you must have today costs more, in cash, in compromise, in what you agree to in order to get it. The same is true of reactions: the response you send immediately is the most expensive one available, and the bill arrives later.
Put a standard delay on wanting. A day for small things, a week for larger ones. Write down what it is and come back to it. Some of it will still be worth having, and it will cost less. A fair amount will have quietly stopped mattering.
What would cost you less if you waited a month?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
