Your time has a price tag. Stop giving it away at a discount to people who don’t even check the tag.

Hours given away without thought get valued at what they cost, which is nothing. People take their cue from you: time that appears endlessly available gets treated as a shared resource rather than something borrowed. Nobody else is going to assign it a value on your behalf.
Before agreeing to something this week, put a rough number on it in hours. Ask whether you would trade those hours for this if somebody were paying for them. Then say no once to something that fails the test.
Who gets hours from you without noticing their worth?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
