A failed tryout is one dot on the graph. Nobody reads a trend from one dot.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

One bad result carries far less information than it feels like it carries. How you performed on a single afternoon was shaped by sleep, nerves, luck, and whoever happened to be watching. A pattern needs many attempts before it says anything true about you. What you feel afterward is a verdict, but a verdict is not evidence.

Give yourself more data points before you decide anything. Put the next attempt on the calendar this week, even a small one, and treat it as the second dot rather than a retrial of the first.
