Live before nostalgia has to remind you that you once had the chance.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
Nostalgia is often the first moment you recognise what you had, which means the recognition arrives after the opportunity has closed. That is not a failing on your part; the present is genuinely harder to appreciate than the past. What you can do is act on the things you would predict missing, while they are still available. The list is usually short and fairly obvious.
Ask what you would miss about this period if it ended tomorrow. Then give one of those things more of your attention this week. It is a way of borrowing the perspective of nostalgia without needing the loss first.
