Consistency means your values stay steady. Stubbornness means your opinions do, even after new facts show up.

REFLECTION
Holding steady and refusing to move look alike from a distance. The difference sits in what is being held: values can stay fixed for a lifetime at no cost, while opinions are supposed to move when the facts do. Confusing the two lets you defend an outdated position and call it integrity.
Think of something you have argued the same way for years. Ask whether it is a value or a claim about how the world works. If it is a claim, work out what you would need to see to change your mind, then check whether you have already seen it.
Which opinion are you holding out of pride rather than evidence?
