If they laugh at your plan, let them. Laughing people aren’t taking notes.

Ridicule is cheap, and it is also information about the person doing it. Someone amused by your plan has decided it is not worth studying, which means they will not be preparing, adapting or moving faster because of you. Their certainty is a gift they do not know they are giving.

Do not spend energy converting them, since a finished thing argues better than you can. Keep the plan to the people who will actually help, and go quiet about the rest of it. Check back in a year and notice who is surprised.
