Your obituary is being written one ordinary day at a time. Today is a paragraph.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
The account of a life is not composed at the end, it is assembled from whatever was repeatedly done. Nobody summarises a person by their intentions, because intentions leave no trace, and an ordinary Wednesday contributes as surely as a dramatic year does. That is less grim than it sounds, since it means the writing is happening now and you are holding the pen.
Ask what today would add if someone had to describe it in one line. If the answer is nothing, that is fine occasionally and worth changing if it is every day.
What would today add to the story of your life?
