You don’t need to be famous. You just need to be a good chapter in somebody’s story.

Reach is not the same thing as significance. Being known by many people does very little for any of them, while being genuinely useful to a few changes the actual shape of their lives. Most of the people who mattered most to you were never known outside a small circle.

Think about who is currently in a hard part of their story and put yourself into it properly. Steady attention over a few months does more than one grand gesture. You do not need an audience for that to be worth doing.
