Your worst year might end up being the year everything turned. Hold on long enough to see.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
From inside a bad stretch, there is no way to tell whether you are in a collapse or a turning point. The meaning of a year gets assigned later, once you can see what followed it. That does not make the hard part less hard, and nobody is asking you to feel grateful for it while it is happening.
What helps is keeping the horizon a little further out than the day you are in. Give yourself something small to reach: a week, a season, one thing you are curious about. You do not have to believe it will turn, only stay long enough to find out.
