Blind loyalty is just a blindfold somebody else tied on you and called a gift.

Loyalty that cannot ask questions is not loyalty, it is usefulness to somebody. The people who most want unconditional backing are often the ones who could not survive a conditional look, and they frame the arrangement as honour so that questions feel like betrayal. Naming it that way is the trick.

Stay loyal in a way that keeps your eyes open. You can back someone fully and still say the hard thing privately, and anyone who calls that disloyalty has told you what they wanted. Loyalty with judgment attached is the only kind worth anything to either of you.
