Sibling relationships are training before they are anything else. Arguing constantly with someone you cannot walk away from teaches negotiation, repair, and how to be known in an unflattering light, which is most of what later relationships ask for. The fighting was never evidence against the bond. It was what practice looks like.

Reach out to a sibling this week about something other than logistics. Let an old argument stay finished instead of reopening the record. Adult siblings have to be chosen, and somebody has to go first.
