CREATIVITY
Holding a position after the facts have moved is not loyalty but inertia wearing a nicer word. Somewhere along the way consistency got confused with integrity, and a changed mind started reading as a character flaw rather than evidence that thinking happened. The person who never revises anything is not steadier than you. They have only stopped checking.
Before your next argument, say out loud what would actually change your mind. If nothing would, you are defending rather than reasoning. And when you do shift, say so plainly instead of hoping nobody noticed the earlier version.
What opinion have you changed lately and felt awkward about?
