Nobody grades you on how fast you recovered. They just notice that you did.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

The speed of a comeback feels enormous while you are inside it, and almost nobody outside is tracking it. What people keep is the much simpler fact that you turned back up. Nobody remembers which month the injury happened or how many weeks the bad patch ran for. That detailed timeline exists mostly in your own head, where it adds pressure and nothing else.

Stop measuring yourself against the quicker version of this that you imagine was available. Do the next scheduled thing instead, whether that is a rehab session or an overdue assignment. The only part that will matter later is that you came back.

A QUESTION TO SIT WITH

Who noticed you came back without asking how long it took?
