Fire needs heat, fuel and oxygen. Pull any one and it goes out. You rarely have to solve the whole problem at once.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

Most problems that look solid are held up by two or three conditions at once, all of which have to stay in place. That means you are not required to dismantle the whole structure. You need one leg, ideally the one you can actually reach. Hunting for the removable condition is a completely different task from facing the problem as a single mass.

Take whatever feels unsolvable this week and list the conditions keeping it alive. The late nights, the group chat, the fact that you never start before nine. Remove the easiest one and watch how much the rest sags without it.
