A blister means the new shoes and your feet are still negotiating. Some discomfort is just adjustment.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

Not all discomfort is a warning. New equipment, a new routine, a new place: the first days rub, and that friction is two things adjusting to each other rather than a sign something is wrong. The skill is telling adjustment from damage, and adjustment usually settles on its own within a week or two.

Give something new a fair trial before deciding it does not suit you. Tape the heel, keep going, and see where you are in ten days. If it is getting worse instead of better, that is the other category, and worth dealing with properly.
