Not every season can be a growth season. Some are just holding on. Holding on counts.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
Some stretches are not for building anything. When there is illness, upheaval or simply too much at once, holding your position is the available outcome, and calling that failure adds a second problem on top of the first. Nothing grows constantly, people included, and the flat years are usually doing something you cannot see yet.
If this is a holding year, change what you measure: turning up, staying well, not losing ground. Write down what holding on is costing you, because it is work even when it looks like stillness. Save the ambitious plans for a season with room for them.
Which stretch of just holding on have you refused to credit?
