Getting knocked down hurts. Getting back up in front of people who saw it is the part that builds you.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

The physical part of a setback is usually the smaller half. The harder half is being visible afterwards, walking back into the room, the practice, the class where everyone watched it happen. That is where most of the growth sits, because you are choosing to be seen without the cover of success. Doing it once makes the next time noticeably easier.

If something went wrong in front of people, go back to the same place sooner than feels comfortable, and go without explaining yourself. One ordinary appearance does more than any account of it would. Let the second showing be the thing people end up remembering.
