Being the hardest worker in a room you hate is still a room you hate. Ambition should take you somewhere you want to be.
LEADERSHIP
LEADERSHIP
Effort does not change the address. You can be excellent inside something that is wrong for you, and all that happens is you get more of it, with better results and the same dread on Sunday night. Hard work is a multiplier, which means it makes a bad fit worse rather than better. Direction matters before intensity does.
If you dread the thing itself and not just its difficulty, that is worth taking seriously instead of treating as weakness. Spend a week noticing which parts of your days you would keep if you could. Let that shape the next choice, which at your age is almost certainly still open.
Are you working hardest in a place you actually want to be?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
