Some doors close because your future needs you walking instead of waiting.

Some things end because staying would have required you to keep waiting for something that was not coming. Endings are painful and they also return your attention and your hours to you, which is often the thing that makes the next stage possible. This is not a claim that everything happens for a reason. It is a note about what becomes available once you are no longer waiting.
If something has recently closed, notice what you now have back: time, energy, or attention that was tied up. Put a small amount of it toward something that moves you. Grieve properly as well; both things fit in the same month.
What ending pushed you forward once you stopped resisting it?
