Somebody drove you to every practice. Part of any trophy belongs in their car.

LEADERSHIP

WHAT THIS MEANS

Nobody arrives anywhere alone, and in youth sport the unseen half is usually logistics: petrol, early alarms, waiting in the cold, shifts rearranged around a fixture list. None of that appears in the result and all of it quietly made the result possible. Noticing it is not a formality, since it changes how you hold the thing. Shared credit is usually just accurate credit.

Tell whoever did the driving that you know what it took, in specific terms rather than a general thanks. Mention a particular morning. If there is a trophy, let them hold it.

A QUESTION TO SIT WITH

Who drove you, waited and never got thanked for the hours?
