Sometimes success is breaking one hard pattern your family’s been stuck in. That’s huge.

Some achievements never appear on a transcript. Being the first in a family to handle money differently, to walk out of an argument instead of escalating it, or to ask for help is work with no certificate attached, and it is genuinely hard because the pattern is older than you are. You did not create it and you are allowed not to continue it. That counts as a real result.
If there is one pattern you would rather not pass on, you might pick its smallest version and interrupt that. One conversation handled differently. Doing it imperfectly still breaks the chain.
Would you count breaking a family habit as real success?
