Make your work so useful that people forget it was hard to make.

LEADERSHIP
The best work tends to hide its own effort. Something genuinely useful feels obvious and easy to whoever is using it, which means the labour behind it becomes invisible precisely because it worked. That is a strange reward structure, since the better you do it the less anybody notices. The compensation is that the thing keeps getting used.
Take something you have made and spend an hour removing friction for whoever uses it. Clearer instructions, fewer steps, one less thing that needs explaining. Nobody will congratulate you and the thing will get used more, which was the result you wanted.
Does your best work go unnoticed because it simply works?
