What you choose to do after a loss tells your team more than what you said before the game.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

Anybody can be a good teammate on the way to a game. What people actually read is the twenty minutes after a bad one: whether you pick up the kit, whether you go and find whoever missed, whether you start handing the blame around. That window is short and everyone remembers it, because it shows what you are like when nothing is going your way.

After the next loss, do one small visible thing before you say anything about the result. Carry something, thank the keeper, ask a question at the next session. Leave the analysis for a day when nobody is raw.
