You’ll make the wrong call sometimes. What you do the next morning decides how wrong it stays.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
A bad decision is not finished when you make it. Most of the damage comes from the hours afterward, when you are deciding whether to admit it, fix it, or hope nobody noticed. The call itself was one moment. The response is the part people remember and the part that changes the outcome.
If something went sideways recently, write down the two or three things that would make it smaller, and do one before lunch tomorrow. Telling the person early usually costs less than letting them find it. You are not trying to look blameless, only to stop the thing from spreading.
What could you do tomorrow morning about last night’s bad call?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
