Fear wants a guarantee before it moves. Life doesn’t hand those out. Move with a plan instead.

RESILIENCE
Fear sets certainty as its condition, and certainty does not get issued, so in practice the condition works as a permanent no. The useful substitute is a plan, which is a much weaker thing than a guarantee and far more available. A plan does not promise the outcome. It tells you what you will do in each of the ways this could go, which is enough to start on.
Write the three branches out: if it works, if it half works, if it does not. Decide the first move for each. Then begin without knowing which one you are in.
Could a solid plan replace the certainty you want first?
