Courage can look like going to the doctor, the counselor, or the coach and saying, “Something’s off.”

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

You do not need a diagnosis, proof or a tidy account of what is happening before you are allowed to ask. Waiting until you can explain it properly is how things go unlooked at for months, because the explanation tends to arrive after the help rather than before it. Something feels off is a complete thought and plenty to start with.

If you want to, pick one person who could actually do something about it and say that sentence. You do not have to say it well, and you are allowed to stop there.

A QUESTION TO SIT WITH

Who would you tell first if something felt genuinely wrong?
