Trying something your older sibling failed at takes extra courage. Their result isn’t your forecast.

RESILIENCE
A family member’s result carries extra weight, partly because other people remember it and partly because you watched it happen close up. But their attempt contained their preparation, their year, their luck and their body, none of which are yours. What looks like a forecast is one result from a different experiment. The expectation sitting in the room is not information about you.
Go in with your own plan rather than a corrected version of theirs. If people raise the comparison, you can say you are doing your own run and leave it at that.
What did a sibling’s failure quietly talk you out of trying?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
