Courage isn’t feeling ready. It’s going when the clock says go and your stomach says no.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

Readiness is a feeling, and feelings arrive on their own schedule, usually after the thing rather than before it. If you wait for your body to agree, you will miss most of what you wanted to do. What actually happens is that the moment comes, you are still nervous, and you move. The nerves do not vanish, they just stop being in charge.

Notice this week where you are using not yet as a verdict instead of a plan. Set a time, tell one person, and go when the time comes whether or not you feel settled. Doing it scared still counts as doing it.
