Fear often gets loudest right before something that matters to you. Treat the volume as a clue, not a stop sign.

RESILIENCE
Nothing frightening happens around things you do not care about. The nerves scale with the stakes, which means the loud ones are pointing at where your actual interests sit. Read backwards, fear is a fairly accurate map of what you want. The mistake is treating the intensity as a measure of danger instead of a measure of importance.
Next time your chest goes tight before something, ask what it would mean to you if it went well. If the answer is a lot, that is the thing to walk towards. Save your caution for the fears that can name a specific, likely harm.
What is your fear loudest about lately, and why that?
