Your style is mostly the mistakes you decided to keep.

CREATIVITY
Style is rarely invented on purpose. It builds up out of things you did wrong and then liked: the hands you draw too large, the crack in your voice on the high note, the color you reach for without thinking. Somebody once called those errors, and at some point you kept them anyway, which is the whole act.
Go back through recent work and find a habit you have been apologizing for. Ask whether it damages the thing, or whether it only differs from the example you were shown. Keep one of them on purpose this week and see how it feels to stop fixing it.
Which of your mistakes have you started keeping on purpose?
