Money can rent convenience without purchasing contentment.

Convenience is genuinely worth buying and it is not the same as being content. Money removes friction, delay, and small daily irritations, which is a real improvement, and it leaves entirely untouched the question of whether your life is one you want. Smoother is not the same as better.

If spending is not making you happier, the problem may be that it was never able to. Ask what would actually change how your weeks feel. Some of that is buyable and much of it is not.
