Somebody has to bottle-feed the orphaned calf before sunrise. Some responsibilities make you grow up a little faster.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
Some responsibilities arrive before you feel old enough for them, and they change you faster than anything you would have chosen. Something alive depends on you at an hour nobody would volunteer for, and there is no way to put it off until you feel more capable. That tends to build a steadier person. It can also be heavier than people realize from outside.
If you are carrying something like this, let somebody know what your week actually looks like rather than managing alone. Keep one thing in your schedule that is purely yours. If you are not, notice who around you is.
Which responsibility made you grow up faster than your friends?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
