Some people get it fast. Some take years. God’s not running a speed contest.

Development is not a race and the comparisons are useless. Somebody in your year will seem to understand everything immediately, and someone else will spend a decade in the same confusion before anything settles, and neither of those timelines means what you think it does. Fast is not better and slow is not failure. Being behind somebody else is not a category that exists here.

Stop measuring your pace against the person you keep measuring it against this week. Ask instead whether you are further on than you were a year ago, which is the only comparison available.
