Pray for the teacher you can’t stand. They might be running on four hours of sleep and a cold coffee too.

The teacher you cannot stand has a life you know nothing about. Bad sleep, a sick parent, thirty other kids, a marking pile, and a reputation they probably did not choose. None of that excuses them if they are unfair, and you are allowed to think they are. It does make them a tired person rather than a wall, which changes what it costs you to sit in their room three times a week.

Pray for them by name once this week. Then test it by being noticeably polite for one lesson.
