Jesus ate with the people religious folks wouldn’t sit with. Check who’s at your table.

Who you eat with is a statement whether or not you intend one. He kept choosing company that the serious religious people of the day would not be seen with, and that choice was not an oversight or a bit of outreach strategy. Tables are where exclusion actually happens, in schools especially. Nobody announces a policy; there is just a seating pattern that everybody understands.
Look at your table this week and work out who is never at it. Then ask one of them to sit down, by name, without making it a project.
Who never gets invited to sit with you at lunch?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
