God doesn’t need your perfection to use you. He’s working with clay, not marble.

GRATITUDE

WHAT THIS MEANS

Marble has to be flawless before anyone starts, because the work is subtraction and a crack ruins it. Clay is the opposite: it is useful precisely because it is soft, uneven, and still movable. Waiting until you have your act together before you do anything useful gets the material wrong. Nobody is holding out for a finished version of you.

Say yes to one thing this week you feel underqualified for. Help with the younger kids, take the shift, volunteer for the part nobody wants. Being partly formed is a working condition, not a disqualification.

A QUESTION TO SIT WITH

Where do you wait to be ready before being useful?
