Physical limits teach humility without needing language.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

There is a kind of understanding you cannot argue with. A knee that will not bend, a lung that will not fill, a night of sleep you did not get, all of it corrects your sense of yourself without a single sentence. The body simply stops cooperating, and the lesson arrives whole. That is often the first honest feedback a person has received in years.

When a limit shows up, resist the reflex to treat it as an insult or a failure. Ask what it is actually reporting about load, rest, or age, and let the answer change something small in how you plan. Limits handled early tend to stay small.
