Every fresh start in a new place goes a little quicker. You’re building a skill called arriving.

CREATIVITY
Arriving somewhere new is a skill with steps, not a personality trait. The first time you do it blind, so it takes months. By the third you already know to find a regular route, to say yes early, to learn two or three names properly. Nothing about the new town got easier; you did.
After the next move, write down the four things that actually helped and the two that wasted time. Keep that list somewhere you will find it. The next arrival gets to start from your own notes rather than from nothing.
What have you gotten better at by starting over repeatedly?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
