A bracket pops off, you get it fixed, you keep going. Not every setback means starting over.

Setbacks get promoted into resets in your head. A bracket comes off, a week of training is missed, a deadline slips, and the story immediately becomes that the whole project is ruined and must begin again. Most of what goes wrong is a repair. Treating a repair as a restart is how people throw away months of real progress.
So ask the plain question when something breaks: is this a repair or a restart. Nine times out of ten it is a phone call, a fix, and carrying on from where you were. Name the repair, do it, and keep your place.
What small setback did you treat as starting over?
