Twenty-two is not too late to change direction. It’s barely the first lap.
CREATIVITY
CREATIVITY
The feeling that your direction is locked arrives long before any actual lock. At twenty-two you have had one serious attempt at one thing, which is a start rather than a verdict. Most of the working life you are imagining has not begun, and the panic about being behind is a comparison with timelines you cannot actually see.
Spend an hour this week on the thing you think you already missed. One tutorial, one message to somebody doing it, one list of classes. Treat it as gathering information, not as a decision you have to defend.
What direction feels closed to you only because of your age?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
