Thank the swim teacher who held your hand in the deep end. Somebody always held the edge for you.

CREATIVITY
Hardly anything difficult gets learned entirely alone. Somebody stood in the water, or sat with you at the kitchen table, or told you that you were nearly there when you were not, and that support is almost always forgotten once the skill feels like yours. Independence is built on a stack of people who held the edge.
Write down three people who held an edge for you, and what they did. Send one of them a message this week, however late it is. People rarely find out that the thing they did mattered.
Who held on while you tried something that frightened you?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
