Somebody donated the jacket you love. Somebody else’s ending was your beginning.
CREATIVITY
CREATIVITY
Everything in a charity shop arrived because something finished for somebody. A person outgrew it, moved, changed size, changed taste, or died, and the thing carried on into your hands. There is a quiet decency in that chain: what stops being useful to one person is exactly what somebody else needs.
Put something of yours into that chain this month rather than into a bag in the cupboard. The shoes that do not fit, the coat you never wear. Somebody is about to find their favourite thing, and it is sitting in your room.
What came to you only because somebody else let it go?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
