A person who demands complete access may be confusing closeness with ownership.

Some people equate love with total access, and read any closed door as evidence of distance. That belief is usually sincere and it is still a problem, because it turns intimacy into a matter of surveillance. Closeness comes from what you choose to share, and choice requires the option of not sharing. Remove that and you have compliance rather than trust.
If a relationship makes privacy feel like an offense, say clearly that you are not hiding and you are also not obligated. Offer connection in other forms. Where the demand only escalates, that is worth taking seriously.
Who treats your openness as something they are owed?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
