Ask yourself if you’d want to work a double with you. If not, start there.

LEADERSHIP

WHAT THIS MEANS

Noticing what other people are like to work with is far easier than seeing yourself from outside. Eight hours next to somebody exposes everything: whether they complain, whether they vanish at the hard part, whether being near them is tiring. Running that question on yourself is uncomfortable, and it is the most honest feedback available without asking anybody.

Name the one thing that would make you a difficult shift partner and work on only that. Maybe it is the mood you arrive in, or the tasks you leave half done. Fix one and the rest of the list gets shorter on its own.
