When you hand someone a job, hand them the authority to do it. Responsibility without power is just stress.

LEADERSHIP
Handing someone a job while keeping every decision about it sets them up to be blamed for things they were never allowed to choose. That is not delegating, it is transferring worry. A real handover means they get to make the calls inside the job, including some you would have made differently.
When you give something away this week, say out loud what they can decide without asking you. Make that list longer than feels comfortable. Then let their version stand even when it is not yours.
What job were you given without the power to do it?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
