Make expectations boringly clear on day one. Most conflict later is about things nobody said.

LEADERSHIP
Nearly every blowup later traces back to an assumption two people never compared. Each thought the arrangement was obvious, so neither said it aloud, and then one of them felt wronged. Spelling out the dull things at the start feels unnecessary and slightly stiff, which is exactly why it gets skipped. It is also the cheapest work you will ever do.
Before the next project or shift pattern starts, write down who does what, by when, and what counts as finished. Read it out even though it sounds obvious. Ask what you left out, and add that too.
What expectation have you never actually stated to your group?
